Bangalore International Convention Centre
An International Convention Centre proposal by Yazdani Studio of Cannon Design in Bangalore, India. The feature of this project is how the architect transformed India’s traditional industry – silk weaving into architecture and created a series of spatial sequences in this project.

The Nano Towers
From Allard Architecture:
‘The Nano Towers were proposed as the new headquarters of the DuBiotech Research Park in Dubai. This mixed use development offers 160 000m2 officespace, laboratories, hotel, residential and associated support facilities in a 262m high tower. The canopy at ground level provides sunshading while creating a dramatic entrance to the towers: a conceptual ground plane from which the towers grow.

Miyi Tower and Master plan
The Los Angeles based team of Studio SHIFT and SWA Group has been selected to create a master plan for the Sichuan Province, a developing area in China. The plan consists of SHIFT’s Miyi Tower that aims to promote the region’s heritage, and SWA Group’s design for a sustainable promenade.

Expo 2010 Shanghai China
Los organizadores de la Exposición Mundial de Shanghai 2010 han planeado instalar 33 espacios escénicos para ofrecer 20.000 espectáculos durante el evento a celebrarse del 1 de mayo al 31 de octubre de 2010.
Los sitios incluyen siete escenarios en salas para conciertos, musicales o piezas de ballet, y 26 escenarios en exteriores para desfiles, expresiones de arte folklórico e interpretaciones callejeras, ocupando una superficie total de 0,48 kilómetros cuadrados. Estos sitios pueden reunir en total a 68.000 espectadores.

The project is a conceptual design for a floating gallery where students and architects can exhibit their designs. It was designesd by University of Innsbruck-graduate Andreas Hoerl. His thesis project is called flo tSA_M- swimming architecture.

The Xi’an World Horticultural Expo
London-based Plasma Studio has won the first prize in the competition for the International Horticultural Fair in Xi’an, China. The ‘Flowing Gardens’ project comprises of the redevelopment of a large area between the airport and the ancient city center of Xi’an, known as the home of the Terra Cotta Army.
Plasma Studio proposes three distinct buildings of 10,000 m2 in total within a proactive and sustainable landscape. The project is a collaboration of Plasma Studio (building design) with Groundlab (landscape and urban design) and will be completed by 2011.
